1. CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

Please review our cancellation and refund policies carefully before making a booking.

1.1 Booking & Payment

  • Booking Amount – Non-refundable under any circumstances.
  • Balance Payment – Must be completed at least 2 days before departure.
  • Confirmation – Registration is confirmed only after full trip fee is received.
  • Long weekend or special event charges may vary. If any customer has booked at regular rates for long weekends or special events which have been changed at a later date by TTT due to extra operational costs, the customer will either have to pay the difference amount to confirm their seats or can receive a refund of the paid amount only.
  • In-Case of Bookings made way in advance for events on regular days also, TTT reserves the right to change the amount of the trip due to operational costs and the customers can agree to pay the difference to confirm their seats or request a refund of the paid amount only.
  • Non-Payment – If balance is not paid on time, the seat will be allotted to someone else and the booking amount will not be refunded.

1.2 Cancellation & Refund

  • Participant Cancellation – No refund will be provided once the booking is confirmed.
  • Cancellation by The Trek Traveller – If the trip is cancelled due to weather, operational issues, or other unavoidable reasons, 100% refund of the total amount paid will be provided. No compensation will be made for personal expenses (e.g., travel to pickup point, separate bookings).
  • Refund Timeline – Refunds, wherever applicable, will be processed within 3-5 working days to the original mode of payment only.

2. TERMS & CONDITIONS

By booking with The Trek Traveller, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

2.1 Eligibility & Documentation

  • Participants below 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
  • A valid government-issued photo ID must be carried during the trip.
  • Disclose any medical conditions at the time of booking.

2.2 Conduct & Safety

  • Follow trek leader/organizer instructions at all times; trek/trip leader's decision is final.
  • Since temples, waterfalls, and tourist spots are public places, they may be crowded during peak season or long weekends. As these locations cannot be kept private for The Trek Traveller's groups, you may experience some rush or minor delays. We request your understanding in such situations.
  • Alcohol or drugs are strictly prohibited during the trip.
  • Respect fellow participants, locals, and the environment.
  • Misbehavior, abuse, or assault toward leaders, drivers, or other participants will result in immediate removal from the trip with no refund.

2.3 Liability & Emergencies

  • The Trek Traveller is not responsible for personal belongings.
  • Emergency expenses (evacuation, medical, etc.) to be borne by participants.
  • Adventure activities involve risk; The Trek Traveller is not liable for accidents beyond control.
  • Participants are advised to have personal travel/medical insurance.

2.4 Accommodation & Facilities

  • Accommodation will be on a sharing basis, with gender-wise separate rooms.
  • Rooms will be on 3/4 sharing with attached washrooms, double beds & extra mattress unless opted for Ad-Ons (Subject to availability).
  • Seating arrangement in Buses will be on a first come first serve (FCFS) basis, every seat reserved is till a certain destination during the trip and the FCFS rule becomes applicable again when boarding the bus. This helps everyone get a fair chance and be comfortable during the journey.
  • This trip is designed to provide the best views with local amenities; it is not a luxury tour.
  • Timings are indicative; actual timing may vary.

2.5 Itinerary & Trip Conditions

  • Minimum 12 participants are required for the trip; The Trek Traveller reserves the right to cancel if the batch size is not met.
  • Water sports or sightseeing activities are subject to weather conditions; the company is not responsible for cancellations.
  • Any train, flight, or bus included in our packages and booked by The Trek Traveller is not our responsibility for delays, cancellations, or missed boarding; no refunds, alternate arrangements, or transfer of booking will be provided.
  • Any mid-trip changes resulting in additional travel or stay costs will be equally divided among participants.
  • Even if one person is booking for multiple participants, it is assumed that all members agree to these policies.
  • No-show will qualify for No refund and No Adjustment of amounts for next events will be made.
